Iron Baltic ATV plastic skid plates are a major improvement over factory-installed plastic covers, which offer minimal impact protection. Our skid plates are made from high-density polyethylene (PE-HWU), providing excellent sliding properties, superior resistance to corrosion and chemicals, and exceptional UV protection. This material remains highly durable even at low temperatures (down to -50°C / -58°F) and is flexible enough to avoid permanent deformation, returning to its original shape after an impact. These skid plates are structurally strong and durable, with low friction properties that ensure safe and smooth operation even in extreme conditions. Additionally, all our plastic skid plates are fully compatible with other Iron Baltic products (such as plow adapters and hitch ball mounting kits) and most factory accessories (including original winch adapters).
